Paramount Theatre tickets & upcoming events

The Paramount Theatre in Oakland is one of those venues that just oozes history and charm. It’s the kind of place where you walk in and instantly feel like you’re part of something special. This theater isn’t just about catching a show; it’s about experiencing an event. Think ornate murals on the ceiling, a grand staircase that makes you feel like royalty, and a stage that’s hosted everything from legendary jazz performances to modern-day bands. Summer nights often mean the Oakland Music Festival, where local heroes and big-name acts take the stage, and the vibe is electric. The acoustics are surprisingly good, making every guitar riff and drum beat hit just right. If you're into dance competitions or holiday concerts, the Paramount’s got those covered too. And let’s be honest, those front balcony seats? Total game-changers for the view and sound. Getting there is a breeze, hop on Amtrak to Oakland Jack London Station, then a quick ride north, or catch the AC Transit buses, 1 and 18, just a block away. Honestly, whether you’re a seasoned concert-goer or just looking for an unforgettable night out, grabbing tickets here is a no-brainer. The theater’s decor, the history, and the vibe make every show feel like a special occasion.
